Everyone does time differently — but some truths repeat, and almost nobody says them out loud. This piece collects those truths, one per person, from people who have lived prison and reentry on both sides of the Atlantic, and hands them to two voices. What comes back is not a lecture and not a confession. It’s a chorus.
